Congratulations to Harrison, who was awarded the Child of Courage Award at this year’s Pride of Sefton on Friday evening. This award recognises his courageous battle against Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and the inspiration behind Harrison’s recent 24-hour sponsored swim, which raised £27,700 for the Oncology Ward at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in January. This award is shared with everyone who has supported Harrison on his journey, and everyone from Swimscool, Marshside Health Club, our Stanley students, our dedicated PE department led by Mr Walsh and Southport Swimming Club, who all helped raise such a fantastic amount of money. Harrison, we are so proud of you!
