At Stanley High School, we strive to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum for every student. The strengths of our curriculum are underpinned by our commitment to the Ebacc subjects and to the Personal development of the full child.  Our curriculum is ambitious and builds on learning from KS2.

Careers heavily focus on all aspects of learning to expose students to amazing opportunities locally and worldwide. Our curriculum structure is sequenced well and linked across multiple areas of learning.

Assessments are well-timed and meaningful, identifying gaps in skills and understanding, allowing our expert practitioners to adapt learning for all students and help them achieve well.  Skills in literacy and numeracy should be strengthened and explicitly taught across all areas.

The school community works together to underpin a thirst for and love of reading.
