Year 10 are excelling in their art media workshops this year. This term, we are focusing on coloured inks, particularly inspired by Abby’s freestyle, colourful ink drawings. Lilly has beautifully captured the colours and movement of a butterfly in her drawing.
The teacher’s personal favourite is Maisie’s artwork titled “The Snow Leopard with a Twist of Fate.” Maisie was diligently working to depict the snow leopard’s fur when she accidentally knocked a bottle of red ink onto her piece.
A gasp echoed through the classroom, but Maisie calmly mopped up the ink, resulting in a happy accident. We are looking forward to seeing how our Year 10 students will incorporate Abby’s style to create their own unique pieces.
