Perception Theatre Company Visit

We have arranged for Perception Theatre Company to come to Stanley High School
to perform their play ‘CUT’ following by a post-show discussion for our pupils in Years 8-10.
CUT is an applied theatre production centred around knife crime and youth violence. The production explores
how a needless dispute at school causes a teenager to be stabbed and killed. The play takes place amongst
the four walls of a police interview room where Jamie recalls the night his best friend was murdered.
The script was written alongside family members and friends of victims of knife crime. The script was then
further developed in collaboration with Alan Walsh, Rob Jackson, Merseyside Police and Cheshire Police. For
