Year 8 Christmas Charity Donation

Year 8 chose the ‘NHS’ as their Christmas charity this year. They decided to create treat hampers for staff who work hard around the clock to support the local community at Christmas.
Yesterday, some of our Year 8 students dropped off their thoughtful donations at Southport Hospital, where two wards, including A&E, gratefully received their gifts.

Here is an extract from the thank you letter we received:

“On behalf of our Charity, we would just like to say a huge thank you for your donation of gift baskets created by your year 8 students for our staff this Christmas. Thank you so much for your generosity, kind donations, and support that make an enormous difference to our patients.”
