Our Year 8s had a wonderful day yesterday, taking part in the Faraday Science Challenge at Birkdale High School. Whilst Greenbank won the overall prize, our six Year 8s did Stanley proud, especially with the presentation to all the other schools at the end of the day. The students spent the day designing and creating a prototype device that could be used to help switch from a manual bike to an electric-powered bike. Teamwork made the dreamwork, and it is clear that we have some budding engineers amongst them.
