On Thursday 10th and Friday 11th December 2015, over 70 students were involved in the cast for the performance of the ‘Rumpelstiltskin’ Pantomime.

Auditions were held at the end of September, followed by 3 months of rehearsals. Miss Cassidy, Mr Winstanley and Miss Cregg directed the performance, with Mr Proffitt managing sound and lighting. All staff involved were so impressed by the enthusiasm and commitment of the whole cast over the last 3 months, congratulations on creating such a fantastic show!

The cast involved students in year 7-11 with many helping behind the scenes in make-up, marketing and refreshments. The technology staff made the set and other staff supported with costume, make-up, props, marketing, refreshments and finance. Local primary school were invited to a sneak preview dress rehearsal which set the tone for the 2 nights of performance.

Over 300 people supported by attending the performances, making for an exciting atmosphere and 2 memorable nights. Funds generated will contribute to future performances at Stanley.
