Today Stanley High School held their annual cake sale for Comic Relief where students from all year groups came along to feast themselves on some amazing cakes which had kindly been donated by our Stanley Families.

It was great to see such variety of cakes that were donated to school ranging from chocolate brownies, cup cakes, cookies and a marvellous big red nose sponge cake.

Students from Year 10 ran the event and did an excellent job in selling the cakes to our students.

We are pleased to announce that we raised a massive £115.00 for Comic Relief! We are so proud that the Stanley community have once again rallied together to achieve this fantastic contribution.  We would like to thank the students and their families and staff for bringing in cakes to sell, and also to Taylor Shawe who donated some cookies to include within the sale.  We hope next year when Comic Relief comes around again that we can be just as successful. Well done to all!
