The Year 7’s have been rather energetic this week.  We have successfully run our Bikeability course again this year.  We had 23 students take part and they were all excited, enthusiastic and thoroughly enjoyed the course and the experience.

The sessions were filled with fun and laughter, as well as lots of cycling.  The instructors were really impressed with all the students’ impeccable behaviour and thoroughly enjoyed working with a fantastic group of students!

Bikeability is an annual scheme that we hope to run again next year, so please look for information if you’d like to be involved.

It was also great to see the Craven Minor League Cup Final back at Haig Avenue last weekend which saw a few of our Year 7 students in action for Southport Athletic JFC v Fleetwood Hesketh U12’s.

Both teams had won their respective leagues with Southport Athletic winning the U12 Championship and Fleetwood Hesketh winning the Premiership. Both league champions battled it out in a very close game with Fleetwood Hesketh taking a 3-2 victory.  Congratulations to all of our students involved and to Fleetwood Hesketh for their triumphant win.
